4-8 Inches Of Snow Coming: Winter Storm Warning For Lorain County
Two rounds of snow will hit northern Ohio on Monday, with flurries in the morning and evening.
AVON, OH — A winter storm warning has been issued for Lorain County.
Two waves of snow will hit northern Ohio on Monday, first in the morning and a second in the evening. Up to 8 inches of snow could fall in 24 hours, the National Weather Service warned.
Snowfall could continue through Tuesday, meaning even more snow could hit parts of Ohio. Flurries of snow will continue through at least 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

"Bands of heavier snowfall may set up across northern Ohio on Monday night and allow for isolated higher snowfall amounts," the National Weather Service said.
"Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning commutes on Monday and Tuesday and potentially the evening commute on Monday," the National Weather Service said.

The agency said travelers should keep a flashlight, food and water in their car if they do travel.
Temperatures will fall into the teens or low 20s on Monday and Tuesday. Northerly winds will make it feel like it feel like 10 degrees or lower for much of northern Ohio, the agency said.
