4 Avon Lake High Seniors Named Commended Students
The National Merit Scholarship program has recognized four seniors for their outstanding academic promise.
AVON LAKE, OH — Avon Lake High had four seniors named Commended Students from the National Merit Scholarship program.
This year's Commended Students are: Hailee Dalgleish, 17; Kennan Davis, 17; Leah Mangano, 17; and Thomas Polakowski, 17.
To be named a Commended Student, these seniors had to perform exceptionally on the PSAT. About 34,000 students receive Letters of Commendation in recognition of their academic promise.
