6 All-Ohio Football Players From Avon, 1 From Avon Lake
A near-perfect season helped six Avon Eagles land on All-Ohio teams. Find out who made the list.

AVON, OH — All-Ohio teams were announced this week for Division II and Division III teams. Avon High School has six players that made either first, second or third team. Avon Lake High School boasts one player on this year's Third Team All-Ohio Offense.
Players are selected by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association. Most of the voters were formerly voters for the Associated Press All-Ohio teams. The Associated Press is no longer doing post-season honors for high school football in Ohio.
Avon High School had another magnificent season in 2017. The Eagles lost in the state semifinals to Archbishop Hoban on Friday, 30-6. It was a sad end for an, until-then, undefeated season.
