After a brief reprieve mid-week, additional snowfall will hit northern Ohio on Thursday night and Friday morning, according to current forecasts. Up to 6 inches of snow could hit parts of northern Ohio during that time.

"Forecast confidence is increasing for another potentially significant winter storm to impact the region Thursday through Friday with widespread accumulating snowfall and maybe a brief period of a wintry mix," the National Weather Service said.
