The state route is closed between Kinzel and Falcon Crest, the city's police department said.

AVON, OH — Downed power lines have closed part of SR 83 on Tuesday, Avon Police announced. High winds tore down a tree branch, which then collided with nearby power lines.
The state route is closed between Kinzel Road and Falcon Crest, police said. The power company has been notified of the downed lines.
"We will advise when the roadway is re-opened," police said. Patch will update this story when the roadway is clear.
