Avon, Avon Lake High Schools Announce Fall Plays
"A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "A Christmas Carol" will be coming to high school auditoriums near you very soon.

AVON, OH — Both Avon and Avon Lake High School have fall theater productions debuting in the month of November. Avon High will put on "A Midsummer Night's Dream" while Avon Lake will perform a double feature of "A Christmas Carol" and "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" later in the month.
William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" will run Nov. 17-18 at 7 p.m., followed up a matinee performance Nov. 19 starting at 2 p.m. All performances will be held at Avon High School, 37545 Detroit Road.
The play, one of the Bard's comedies, follows the marriage of Theseus to Hippolyta. Presale tickets for the play are now available at seatyourself.biz/avonhs. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and students. Prices for tickets will go up $2 if purchased at the door.

Later in the month, Avon Lake High School will debut its two shows, the Dickens-inspired "A Christmas Carol" and "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." Both shows will debut Nov. 29, with performances Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and Dec. 2 at 7 p.m., and a matinee performance Dec. 3 at 2 p.m.
