Avon Football Score: Eagles Return To Gridiron

Did you see the team take the gridiron again? Patch tracked the score of the game.

AVON, OH — Avon Eagles football returned Thursday night. The squad has started to recapture the magic of last season — when Avon football went undefeated in the regular season and made a deep playoff run.

The Eagles first game was against Buchtel CLC, an Akron school. Avon won their first game 19-11.

The school district believes the Thursday night game drew a large crowd. Fans were being asked to park in the south lot of Avon High School and at St. Mary's Church.
