Avon Eagles Get New Scoreboard In Stadium
There's a new digital display scoreboard that will give fans playback of the action they're seeing on the field.

AVON, OH — A new scoreboard has been installed at Joe Firment Chevrolet Stadium in Avon.
The home of the Eagles now has a digital, Daktronics scoreboard. The display is 13 feet high and 24 feet long. There are 4 foot sponsor panels on each side, a 6 foot truss at the top of the scoreboard and space for a sound cabinet. The whole scoreboard is 19 feet high and 32 feet long.
“We are very thankful to our community partners for their generous donations,” said Mike Laub, Avon Local Schools superintendent. We are fortunate to have raised enough money through donations to fully fund the video board. Over the years it will be a great asset to our student groups, as well as a way to generate additional funds for capital improvements.”
