Beating Toledo St. John should count for some redemption for the Eagles. Last year's undefeated season, ended in the opening round of the regional playoffs when rival Avon Lake pulled off the upset victory, winning 27-26. It was a devastating loss that was sealed by an endzone interception.
Should Avon continue their winning ways, the team could find itself playing in the Region 6 finals.
