Avon High Play To Be Streamed Online
Avon High's production of "Radium Girls" will be available online on Friday.
AVON, OH — Avon High School's new dramatic production of "Radium Girls," will be available for streaming online on Friday.
"Radium Girls" is set in the 1920s and focuses on the marketing of the newly-discovered element radium, which was being marketed as a "miracle cure" to treat cancer and other illnesses. When Grace Fryer, a watch dial painter for the U.S. Radium Corporation, falls ill with a mysterious and painful illness, she must fight the company she works for and her family and friends, who fear her campaign will backfire.
The show will not be performed for live audiences due to COVID-19 restrictions. However, fans can rent a video of the production for $10.

Tickets are available for purchase online. Fans will need a Google account to watch the video, which is hosted by YouTube. Google accounts are free to create.
