Avon Lake Football: Track The Score Here
Are you ready to watch the Shoremen return to the gridiron?

AVON LAKE, OH — The Avon Lake Shoremen football team will return to the gridiron on Friday night. The team will open its 2018-2019 season with an away game against Elyria High.
Avon Lake's first home game will come in Week 2 of the season, when North Olmsted High comes to town. A rivalry game with Avon High will follow, on September 7. Shoremen fans will get to watch that game in their own stadium.
The Avon-Avon Lake rivalry was dominated by the Avon Eagles last year. The Avon squad went undefeated in the regular season and then made a deep playoff run. Avon Lake will be looking to spoil any dreams of repeating that feat this year.

Three Avon Lake Shoremen signed with Division I football programs last year, and one player made an All-Ohio team for Division II and Division III. Last year's squad finished the season 6-4 and missed out on the postseason. Expect the Shoremen to bounce back this year.
