Avon Lake High School Choir Performing With Eric Church
Students from the school will perform the gospel choir on one of the country star's songs during his show at Quicken Loans Arena.
AVON LAKE, OH - Country superstar Eric Church is going to be playing to a raucous crowd at Quicken Loans Arena on Friday night. Taking part in the festivities? Members of the Avon Lake High School Choir.
Avon Lake High School Choir Director Mike Lisi said the choir was recommended to Church's staff by local country music radio station WGAR management. The choir will be singing the gospel chorus on Church's song "Mistress Named Music." A recording of that song can be heard at the bottom of this article.
Lisi said he hand-picked 21 students from the choir to take part in the show. "Most are juniors and seniors, but I also included some sophomore and freshman voices," he said.
