Avon Lake High School Performing "Mary Poppins"

AVON LAKE, OH - "A spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down."

Most of us heard that simple lyric hundreds of time as children. It's one of the most famously quotable lines from Walt Disney's classic film "Mary Poppins". It's a film that became a stage play and in that form it will come, descending on an umbrella, to Avon Lake High School.

The high school Drama Club is presenting its version of "Mary Poppins" on April 27-April 30. The April 27-29 performances will take place at 7 p.m. The April 30 performance will be held at 2 p.m. All of the shows will be held in the Dr. Daniel B. Ross Performing Arts Center at Avon Lake High School, 175 Avon Belden Rd.
