Avon Lake To Shred Sensitive Documents Saturday

AVON LAKE, OH — Looking to offload those sensitive documents languishing in your attic or home office? Look no further than the City of Avon Lake's community shred day.

This Saturday, Avon Lake households will be able to bring up to give copy paper boxes — or five grocery bags — filled with personal, confidential documents to the Avon Lake Service Garage for shredding.

The garage is located at 750 Avon Belden Road, and the shredding event will be held fro 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Residents can bring items like bank information, cancelled checks, outdated bills, medical documentation and other paper products to the shredding event. Staples, binder clips and other solid items should be removed.
