Baby Eagle Watch Begins In Avon Lake: Live Stream

It appears Stars and Stripes, two eagles watched by students in Avon Lake, have laid a new egg.

AVON LAKE, OH — Stars and Stripes, two eagles watched by the students at Redwood Elementary School, have made a new egg. The mother likely laid the egg Sunday night, at about 6:40 p.m.

Eagles usually lay eggs in groupings of about two to three. The eggs are laid two to three days apart. That means more eggs could be coming this week.

Eggs take between 36 and 38 days to hatch. That means there could be baby eagles during the first week of April.
