Buses Will Carry July 4th Attendees To Fireworks In Avon Lake
The July 4th celebration will start at 3 p.m. and continue into the evening, concluding with a show of fireworks.
AVON LAKE, OH — School buses will carry people to the July 4th Fireworks Jubilee in Avon Lake. Shuttles will start at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
There will be two pick-up locations for folks looking to board the buses: Troy Intermediate School (237 Belmar Boulevard) and Towne Shopping Center (Route 83 and Walker Road). Shuttle service will start at 4 p.m. and continue until midnight. The shuttles will accommodate people, folding chairs and folding strollers, the city said.
Moore Road will be closed to traffic at the culvert between Webber Road and Pin Oak Parkway. However, foot traffic will be allowed to cross through the area.

A daylong Independence Day celebration will be held in Avon Lake. The festivities will start with dog yoga at noon, then a dog parade and pageant at 1 p.m. (with food trucks). At 3 p.m., the party really gets started with activities for kids and adults, live music and more. Fireworks will be held at dusk, which should be about 10 p.m.
