Details On Avon's Memorial Day Parade
The parade kicks off at 9 a.m. Will you be in attendance?

AVON, OH — The city's annual Memorial Day Parade will again be held Monday at 9 a.m. The event will be organized by the local VFW, Post 7035.
The parade starts at the Avon Senior Center, 36784 Detroit Road. It will then travel east to the Avon Cemetery, which is at the corner of Detroit Road and Route 83.
Once the parade arrives at the cemetery, a ceremony will begin. Involved in the program will be the VFW, Boys Scouts & Girls Scouts, Westside Irish American Heritage Pipe Band, Mighty Eagle Marching Band, Golden Crescent Choir and Mayor Bryan Jensen.

This year's parade will include many community groups and personnel from the Avon Police and Fire departments, an Avon official said.
