Detroit Road In Avon Being Resurfaced
The Ohio Department of Transportation will be resurfacing part of Detroit Road through the end of August.
AVON LAKE, OH — Crews will be working on Detroit Road in Avon this month, the city announced.
The Ohio Department of Transportation will be resurfacing Detroit, from Garden Drive to Sheffield. Grinding and resurfacing will happen in the evenings, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. from Monday through Thursday; and 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Fridays.
City officials urged residents and drivers to show "patience" during the project. Work should be completed by Aug. 27, officials said.
