Firelands Spring Hike

Join volunteer guide Dan Styer and Western Reserve Land Conservancy at 10 a.m. April 30 for an approximately two-hour hike at the 454-acre Firelands Scout Camp near Wakeman.

Hikers will have the opportunity to see a vast array of beautiful spring wildflowers and a variety of birds, including pileated woodpeckers, bald eagles and migratory species as they walk a portion of the camp, which contains tributaries of the Vermilion River.  Be prepared to walk some hilly terrain and wear appropriate footwear. Some areas may be wet.

There is no charge for the hike.
