Join the merchants & restaurants of Avon’s French Creek District as they welcome spring with “Spring into Avon.”
The weekend is a result of the combined efforts of the French Creek Merchant’s Association and French Creek Development Association. The weekend’s events begin with a Pancake Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, scheduled for Saturday, March 24th at 8 am and 10 am, with an Egg Hunt in between seatings at 9:30am. This year’s event will be held at Avon Isle and will feature fun activities for kids 0 to 8, including a Photo-op with the Easter Bunny, Crafts, Face Painting & Prizes.
The Pancake Breakfast is a fundraiser, with proceeds going to beautification projects in the French Creek District.
Tickets for the Breakfast are $6 Adults & $3 for children under ages 2-8 ($2 additional per ticket at door; under age 2 Free). Tickets may be purchased at The Littlest Details located in the Olde Avon Village at 36840 Detroit Road and Catherine’s Chocolates at 36718 Detroit Road.
Merchants and Restaurants in the French Creek District will be holding their “Bunny Shop Hop” Saturday & Sunday. Each business will offer sales, specials, demonstrations or fun activities, as well as a valuable “Easter Basket” prize drawing. Many of the businesses located in the French Creek District are housed in historic buildings, so plan on spending time exploring the unique blend of specialty stores and restaurants, while viewing a bit of history.
