Avon High's girls volleyball team is one of about 800 teams around Ohio that is participating in Volley For the Cure, a volleyball tournament to raise money for Ohio Affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
In addition to volleyball, there will be gift baskets for raffles, a 50/50 drawing, a serving game for fans, a bake sale and a concession stand, all raising funds for the cause.
