Here's What Highway Road Work Is Planned In Lorain County
The Ohio Department of Transportation announced its full slate of 2021 construction projects this week.
AVON, OH — The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) announced its slate of 2021 construction projects this week, with several set to impact Avon and Avon Lake drivers.
After an uncertain year of projects, due to COVID-19, ODOT is launching more than 270 projects statewide, with work planned in 17 counties across Northeast Ohio. Many of the plans include making highways and other routes safer.
“Sadly, traffic deaths continued to climb last year, even with fewer vehicles on our roads,” said ODOT Director Jack Marchbanks. “We must continue to prioritize projects that make our roads safer for everyone who uses them.”
