James Zangari, WWII Veteren and Member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church

Services to be held July 15

James Zangari, a WWII veteren, member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the VFW 1079, died July 3, Busch Funeral Home reports. He was 91.

He worked as a foreman at Bendix Corporation and enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family, the obituary adds.

Zangari is survived survived by his wife, Florence (nee Sutton); his daughter, Sharon Pulig (Patrick), of North Ridgeville; step-children, Cheryl Polk of Berea, and Dian Jenkins-Vialpando (Bob), of Durango, Colorado; grandchildren, Patrick (Melissa) and Steven (Jennifer) Pulig; great-grandchildren, Giada, Carmela, Madelina; and step-great-grandchildren, Andrew and Ashley.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Bernice (nee Matvichuk); his great-grandson, Carter; and his sisters, Sarah Boyson and Mary Grasso. 

Holy Trinity will hold a Mass in his honor Monday, July 15 at 8 a.m. Inurnment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Mausoleum, Avon.
