Jaycox Road Construction In Full Swing, Drivers Should Avoid Area

AVON LAKE, OH — Drivers should avoid a stretch of Jaycox Road in Avon Lake while crews replace a culvert on the street.

Work on the culvert began this week and will continue through mid-September, an Avon Lake official told Patch. Jaycox will be closed between Walker and Lake during the construction.

At the tail end of the project, crews will be repaving Jaycox. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area, if possible.

The construction project is being handled by Dennis Concrete, Inc. Avon Lake is paying $1.03 million to replace the culvert and repave the street.
