Long-Running COVID-19 Testing Site Closing In Lorain County
A site that has been open since November 2020 will shutter in July.

LORAIN, OH — A long-running COVID-19 testing site in Lorain County will close on July 2.
Mercy Health - Lorain's testing site at 1957 Cooper Foster Park Road shutters July 2, the hospital announced. The site has been open since November 2020.
Anyone who suspected they had COVID-19 could receive a drive-thru test at the site, the hospital said. However, as COVID-19 vaccination rates have increased, the need for COVID-19 tests has decreased, the hospital said.

Mercy Health - Lorain will continue to host Walk-In Care Clinics throughout the county. The clinics access to testing and other care, without needing an appointment. The clinics are open during the work week from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
