Lorain County Sheriffs Raise $11,000 For Nonprofits, Churches
The sheriffs will give $500 to 22 organizations throughout Lorain County.
ELYRIA, OH — The Lorain County Sheriffs raised $11,000 for various nonprofit groups and churches during the holiday season.
Lorain County Sheriff Phil Stammitti announced the fundraising efforts this week. He said the sheriffs held events like Dress Down Fridays and No Shave November to raise funds.
The sheriffs will give $500 checks to 22 agencies throughout Lorain County. The money will be used to provide meals, gifts and other items for people in need.
