Movie Night In The Park Comes To Avon

AVON, OH — The Disney hit "Moana" will be shown August 4 at Every Child's Playground in Avon. Residents will be able to enjoy an evening of activities culminating in a screening of the film, as part of a free and family-friendly night put on by the city's Parks and Recreation Department.

The event will start at 7 p.m., the city said in a flyer. Attendees should bring blankets and lawn chairs to use while watching the movie.

There will be activities for kids and parents around the screening, including a bounce house, a balloon artist, crafts, games, refreshments and more. The movie itself will start at dusk, the city said, and will be shown on a 30 foot screen.

Every Child's Playground is next to the Avon Aquatic Facility, 36265 Detroit Road.
