New Traffic Light At Rt. 83-Webber Road Activates Wednesday
Police are asking drivers to approach the area with caution for a few weeks as everyone gets used to the new light.
AVON LAKE, OH — A new traffic light at Route 83 and Webber Road will be turned on Wednesday. Drivers will want to approach the area with caution as everyone gets used to the new traffic patterns.
The light has been in flashing mode for the past week, Avon Lake Police said on social media. The light will be fully actuated on Wednesday, September 26.
"Please take your time and drive with extra caution and attention as you get accustomed to the new traffic pattern," the police said on Facebook.

Residents seemed happy about the new traffic light. Most said on social media that they believed the light would prevent accidents. Others said they were simply happy to see the project come to fruition.
