Part Of Lake Road To Be Reduced To 1 Lane In Avon Lake

AVON LAKE, OH — Part of Lake Road will be reduced to one lane starting on July 15, the city of Avon Lake announced.

Columbia Gas will be doing trench repairs around 33120 Lake Road. Police will be onsite throughout the project to direct traffic, the city said on social media.

Both lanes on Lake will be open at night. The city estimated the project would be completed by Saturday, July 20.

Current forecasts show clear skies to start next week, with temperatures in the mid-80s. There's no chance of rain or thunderstorms until Wednesday, when there's a 40 percent chance of precipitation, the National Weather Service said.

Forecasts suggest a 30-percent chance of storms on Wednesday night and Thursday.
