Parts Of Jaycox, Moore Roads Closing In July In Avon
Drivers are being asked to find alternate routes over the coming weeks.
AVON, OH — Parts of both Jaycox and Moore roads will be closed in the coming weeks. Drivers are being asked to find alternate routes for their commutes.
Jaycox will be closed between Chester and Detroit, starting on July 17. The city of Avon said on its website that crews will be repairing parts of the bridge at that time. Work is expected to last about two weeks.
The Jaycox detour will take northbound drivers east on Detroit, north on Nagel and then west on Chester. The route will be reversed for southbound drivers.

Moore Road will be closed between Chester and the railroad tracks, on July 14, 16 and 17. Things should open up by Wednesday, according to a post shared by the city of Avon Lake.
