Person Charged For Bank Robbery In Elyria

ELYRIA, OH — A man has been taken into custody in connection with a bank robbery in Elyria, the FBI announced.

On Thursday afternoon, a man walked into the PNC Bank on Midway Boulevard and handed a note to the teller. It demanded money, and the teller handed over the cash. The FBI did not disclose how much money was handed over.

The FBI released surveillance footage of the man to the public on Thursday evening. By Friday morning, they had identified the man and taken him into custody, the FBI said.
