Plane Travels Down I-90 Through Avon
After a single-engine plane made an emergency landing in a field in Avon, the plane will now be moved to a nearby airport.
AVON, OH — A single-engine plane landed in an Avon field over the weekend.
The plane will be driven to Lorain County Airport on Tuesday morning. Rolling road closures on I-90 and an escort will give the plane safe passage to the airport.
The 1979 Piper 28A landed in a field on Saturday after the engine stopped. No one was hurt, Fox 8 reported.

The two people inside the plane were a flight instructor and a licensed pilot, according to WKYC.
