Renowned Acoustic Band To Play Free Concert In Avon Lake
The duo known as Hungrytown have appeared on numerous TV programs including Portlandia, The Daily Show, and Lady Dynamite.

AVON LAKE, OH — Renowned acoustic duo Hungrytown will play a free concert in Avon Lake on July 24. The band's music has appeared on numerous TV programs including "Portlandia," "The Daily Show," and Netflix's "Lady Dynamite."
The band will appear at the Avon Lake Public Library on July 24. Their set will run from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission to the concert is free.
Hungrytown is made up of Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson, two Vermonters. The duo have been playing music together for nearly 15 years and have just completed a lengthy tour of Great Britain and Germany.

The band's latest album — Further West — made 14 best albums of the year lists. Their songs have also appeared in various documentaries and have been used at major sporting events like NASCAR and Hockey Night in Canada.
