Santa Claus Visits Avon Early Learning Center

AVON, OH - The Walk on Wednesday program at the Avon Early Learning Center, which encourages students to keep track of their walking mileage and reward them for being physically active, got a special visitor this past week.

Santa Claus, who made the long journey from the North Pole, joined the kids on their walk.

Each week the students are treated to a "Mystery Walker." Previously, police and fire department personnel have come out for the walk. Mayor Bryan Jensen has also joined in the fun. However, this past week, Mr. Claus joined the ranks of prominent figures who have walked with the kids.
