Snow, Drizzle Coming To Avon, Avon Lake This Week

There won't be a ton of accumulation, but driving conditions could be bad mid-week.

AVON LAKE, OH — There's a chance for snow flurries mid-week in Avon and Avon Lake.

Current forecasts show a possibility for snow flurries, drizzle and more snow on Tuesday and Wednesday. There's little chance of accumulation, but with temperatures expected to dip into the low 30s overnight, some of the moisture could freeze.

Any precipitation should stop by Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service. However, temperatures will drop steadily throughout the week, so keep a winter coat handy.

Here's a day-by-day forecast for the week:

Tuesday — A chance of drizzle and snow flurries during the day. Additional snow could fall before midnight. High of 36, low of 32.

Wednesday — A slight chance of snow showers (20 percent) in the morning. Snow could become rain by the afternoon. High of 37, low of 31.

Thursday — Mostly cloudy throughout the day, no precipitation anticipated. High of 36, low of 28.

Friday — Another cloudy, dry day. High of 34, low of 27.
