Vandals Hit Avon Lake Park, Home In April: Police

Graffiti was left on park equipment and inside a house after vandals targeted it.

AVON LAKE, OH — Two recent vandalism incidents are under investigation in Avon Lake, according to newly released police reports.

On April 18, police discovered someone vandalized equipment at Overlook Park. Three names and different images were drawn onto the equipment.

The next day, April 19, police learned someone had broken into a home on South Port Drive and spray painted graffiti on the walls. Graffiti was also found on the exterior of the home. Several windows were also broken at the house, police said.

The home was under construction when the vandals broke in.
