Water Tower Demolition Will Close Walker Road In Avon Lake
Part of Walker Road will be shut down from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for one day.
AVON LAKE, OH — The demolition of the blue water tower will take place Tuesday, October 23. City officials said the project will close down Walker Road, between Moore Road and Avondale Avenue, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Detour signs will be posted in the area during the work, the city said. Officials thanked residents for their patience.
Drivers that frequently use Walker Road during the weekdays may want to find an alternate route for October 23. If you can't skirt the area, expect delays that day.
