Drunken Woman Found Walking Avon Lake Street At Night: Blotter
The woman told police she was cold, so they helped her into a cruiser.
AVON LAKE, OH — A woman was found walking down Electric Boulevard at night last week, police announced.
The woman appeared to be intoxicated and told police she was very cold. Officers let her warm up in the back of a patrol cruiser and offered to take her home. The woman got angry with police and began shouting at them.
When officers dropped her off at her house, she refused to sign a citation for disorderly conduct and continued shouting at police. The woman's boyfriend eventually brought her in the house, told police they had been drinking earlier in the day, and accepted her court date on Feb. 23.
