Assault, Thefts, Surround Quiet Halloween In Beachwood: Blotter
Halloween night was actually pretty quiet in Beachwood, but that doesn't mean police didn't have plenty to do this week.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Despite the annual threat of hijinks on Halloween night, Beachwood appears to have had a quiet holiday week. Police had to break up a fight at a local healthcare center, and there were a couple of incidents at Beachwood Place Mall, but there appears to have been no property damage on October 31.
Simple Assault, October 29 — Police had to break-up a fight between two patients at Park East Healthcare. One of the patients was taken to South Pointe Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
Lost Property, October 29 — A shopper at Beachwood Place Mall discovered that her keys were missing while she was at Forever 21. The shopper believes her keys were stolen, police said.

OVI, October 29 — Officers stopped a car on Cedar Road at about 2 a.m. on Monday morning. The vehicle was drifting out of its marked lane. Police said the driver was arrested for operating a vehicle impaired.
License Suspension, October 30 —Police stopped a car for a traffic violation and discovered the driver had a suspended license. Officers arrested the driver.

Criminal Damaging, October 31 — Two women stole merchandise valued at $427 from Victoria's Secret at the Beachwood Place Mall. They also damaged about $119 of merchandise at the store, police said.
