Beachwood Among Best Greater Cleveland Suburbs: Niche

Niche has released its rankings for 2021's best places to live.

Beachwood, OH — Beachwood was ranked as one of Greater Cleveland's best suburbs, according to new rankings from Niche.

Beachwood earned an overall grade of "A+" and topped other communities like Avon and Chagrin Falls on the list. The city rated as the thirteenth best Cleveland suburb to call home.

The rankings were determined by using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI, CDC and other agencies, combined with reviews from people that live in the area.

The rankings consider a variety of topics to determine a town or city's standing, including affordability, local housing market, neighborhood diversity, local public schools and walkability, to name a few.

Greater Cleveland's top 10 suburbs, according to Niche, are:

  • Shaker Heights
  • Solon
  • Pepper Pike
  • Bay Village
  • Orange
  • Hudson
  • Moreland Hills
  • Rocky River
  • Glenwillow
  • Bainbridge

Nationally, Niche's research found that Chesterbrook, PA was the best place to live in America, while The Woodlands, TX earned top honors in the Best Cities to Live in America rankings.
