Beachwood Caribou Announces Closing Date
Store will reopen as Peet's Coffee & Tea at a date to be announced, the sign notes.

Beachwood's Caribou Coffee will close June 30, according to a sign posted inside the store.
It notes that it will re-open later as Peet's Coffee & Tea, but that an opening date has not been set.
We reported in April that the company announced that it would close all Ohio branches, and soon after, the company reported that they would re-open most of them, including Beachwood's, as Peet's, but Caribou did not release further details about when.
Caribou was purchased by German conglomerate Joh. A. Benckiser Group in December 2012, soon after it purchased the Peet's chain.
Peet’s Coffee was founded in Berkeley, CA, and is now headquartered in Emeryville, CA. The bulk of its stores are located in California. The company also maintains stores in Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Oregon and Washington state.
