Beachwood Girls Track Team To Be Honored For State Championship
The girls track and field team won the Division II state championship this year. Come celebrate their accomplishments.

BEACHWOOD, OH — The state champion Beachwood girls track and field team will be honored during an upcoming basketball game. The athletes will receive their state championship rings and take part in an unveiling ceremony.
The festivities will be held Friday, Jan. 4 when the boys basketball team plays West Geauga High at home. The freshmen game will be played at 4 p.m., the junior varsity game will start at 5:30 p.m., and varsity tip-off is at 7 p.m.
During halftime of the varsity game, the special celebration of the girls track and field team will begin. The Beachwood Athletic Boosters will present the girls with their championship rings and honor them during an unveiling ceremony.

If that's not enough incentive to come out and celebrate, the boys basketball game should be a barn burner.
West Geauga's boys basketball team is the defending Chagrin Valley Conference champions. The Beachwood Bison are currently 5-0. The Jan. 4 contest could tell us which team will claim the CVC crown in the 2018-2019 season.
