Beachwood School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

BEACHWOOD, OH — The first day of school in Beachwood is August 15 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Beachwood School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

September

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)
• 9/10: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

November

• 11/6: No School (Staff In-Service)
• 11/12: BMS Conferences (3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)
• 11/13: Elementary Conferences (3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)
• 11/14: BMS Conferences (3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)
• 11/15: Elementary Conferences (3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)
• 11/19: BHS Conferences (6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.)
• 11/20: Early Release / BHS Conferences (12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
• 11/21 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1 - 1/4: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/11: No School (Staff In-Service)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)
