Suit claims business used deceptive practices to squeeze $10,000 out of parents

The Event, a Beachwood talent agency, has been sued by the Ohio Attorney General's office, The Plain Dealer reports.

The lawsuit alleges that the company used unconscionable and deceptive business practices to get parents to pay up to $10,000 to get their kids in front of casting executives at top networks.
