Beachwood's Maltz Museum Free on MLK Day

There will be live music and a chance for attendees to talk about causes they would fight for.​​

BEACHWOOD, OH - The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage is holding a free event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to celebrate the late reverend's legacy. The event is titled "Hear Our Voices: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration."

The event will be held Jan. 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be live music and a chance for attendees to talk about causes they would fight for.

Attendees will have a chance to see how King lived and how he and everyday citizens risked their lives to see change in America. You'll have a chance to see the exhibit This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers.

The event will be supported by the Community Relations Committee of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. The event will be family-friendly.

The next free event at the Maltz will be on President's Day, Feb. 20.

The event will have hands-on leadership-inspired activities and a chance for attendees to hear from former presidents like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, FDR, and Theodore Roosevelt. The event runs from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
