Cedar Road Resurfacing Moving To Next Phase

Work is shifting to the south side of Cedar Road, mostly housed in Beachwood. Drivers should expect heavy congestion in the area.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Work will begin on the south side of Cedar Road on Tuesday, the city of Beachwood announced. Left-hand turns in the construction area will be limited until at least Sunday, July 14.

The north side of Cedar Road is being opened to traffic in each direction, in one lane, from I-271 to (about 700 feet west of) Richmond Road. This shift in construction is what's allowing work on the south side of Cedar to begin.

Cedar Road, in Beachwood, will allow only limited left-hand turns through the end of the week. All of the construction, and dates connected to the construction, are weather-dependent.
