Construction On Cedar Road Shifts On June 10

Construction on Cedar Road will shift on June 10. Crews will begin work on the north side of the street that day, while traffic will be maintained on the south side of the road.

Drivers should expect delays during the construction period. Motorists may want to find an alternate route for their commutes until construction is finished.

Crews from Perk Company will be working on nearly two miles of Cedar Road, from I-271 to Green Road. Work will include pavement repairs, new bus pads, curb repair and replacement and more.

"We urge all travelers to use safety in the construction zones," Perk said in a statement. "Your safety and the safety of our workers are our greatest concern."

All work on the project is weather dependent.
