Construction Shifts On Richmond Road

BEACHWOOD, OH — There are signs that the construction on Richmond Road is finally moving forward. The city said the project is lurching into phase two.

That means the construction zone will shift and will now mostly be between Chagrin Boulevard and South Woodland. Drivers will still want to give themselves extra time while traveling in the area, or possibly find an alternate route.

Richmond Road has been under construction for most of the summer. The northbound lanes of Richmond are being replaced, with crews starting between the Shakers and then from Shaker Boulevard to South Woodland and finally moving to South Woodland and Chagrin.
