Free Sports Physicals In Beachwood
University Hospitals is offering free sports physicals to students on June 9.

BEACHWOOD, OH — University Hospitals (UH) is offering free sports physicals for high school students in Northeast Ohio on June 9. Four different UH locations are participating. Students will need to bring their school's 2017 – 2018 Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Preparticipation Physical Evaluation Consent form.
Among the four participating UH locations is the Ahuja Medical Center, 3999 Richmond Rd., Kathy Risman Pavilion, Suite 210. The facility will see student-athletes from 3 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. on June 9.
If you're unable to get in at Ahuja, you can also make an appointment UH Westlake Health Center, 960 Clague Road, Suite 3110; the UH Geauga Medical Center, 13207 Ravenna Road, Chardon; or the UH Sheffield Health Center, 5001 Transportation Dr.

The Sheffield Health Center will see student-athletes from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

"We encourage all athletes to see their pediatrician or family doctor for the sports physical, in addition to the annual wellness exam to ensure things like immunizations and follow-up for conditions such as asthma are appropriately managed," the flier from UH says of the event. "Ideally, these two exams would be done at the same time in your doctor’s office. Please call 1-866-UH4-CARE if you’re unable to attend the event and you would like to establish a relationship or make an appointment with a pediatrician or family medicine doctor."
