IRS Auctioning Homes, Land In Lyndhurst

After a foreclosure proceeding, the Internal Revenue Service is auctioning two homes and property in Lyndhurst.

LYNDHURST, OH — Two homes and property in Lyndhurst will be auctioned off by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

The auction comes as the result of a foreclosure of an IRS Federal Tax Lien by the Department of Justice. The auction will be held Sept. 9.

Properties on Richmond Road will be sold together and include two single family homes, situated on 2.4 acres of land.

The properties can be seen by appointment on Aug. 21 and Aug. 28. To schedule an appointment, contact Arlenar McClain, 216-339-3742 or arlenar.mcclain@irs.gov. No bids will be accepted without a deposit equal to or exceeding 20 percent of the bid price.

All bids must be by certified check, cashier's or money order and be made payable to the Clerk of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Mail-in bids will be opened at the homes at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 9.
